Hey Matt, you can use Publications for that and include a link to unsubscribe in the emails you send out, BUT a person would have to login to the portal to edit their email subscriptions. That might not fly for some folks.
Also, the vanilla Marketing Lists in Dynamics CRM don't have all the tracking you might want like open rates, click-throughs, bounce rates, etc. For that you would want a real Email Marketing package like ClickDimensions or Convio.

Is publications the best place to manage Email publications that go to the entire membership? Marketing list?
Can we include an unsubscribe link in each Email that hard links to the subscription page in the portal? Seems like that is possible based on the Web Portal video talking about "page text".
